Ryan Stone, a 22 year old from small town Slaton, TX is working to live his dream of being a Sprint Car Driver. Ryan has been racing outlaw karts since the age of 6 years old. He was given the opportunity to race a 305 Sprint car in March of 2023. Ryan ran locally in Lubbock at West Texas Raceway. During his rookie season, Ryan had several strong runs which included one Feature Win and multiple top 5 finishes. By doing so, he finished the season 5th in points of a 25-car field and won Rookie of the Year. In 2024, Ryan race in Amarillo at Route 66 Speedway. Ryan fought hard and was able to maintain a top 3 in points all season. During this time, he was able to achieve a Feature Win, a Dash Win, multiple Heat race wins, and numerous top 5 finishes. At the end of the season, Ryan came in 2nd in points, missing the championship by only three points.
To help provide a better idea of Ryan's dedication to his commitments you should also know that while growing up, he was dedicated to playing little league baseball, flag football, and soccer. While in high school, he was in the band, showed in FFA, was on the Ag LDE and CDE teams and gained his Lone Star Degree in Ag. Ryan accomplished all of this while building a racing career and held down a steady job from the age of 15 years old. To this day, he still continues to work a full time job while still persuring his racing career.
